UAE stock markets close Monday with collective rise

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 52.21 points (1.37%) on Monday and ended the trading session at 3.838.76 points.

DFM’s turnover stood at AED 480.96 million through the exchange of 217.11 million shares.

Emaar Properties witnessed the highest turnover of AED 117.56 million, while Shuaa Capital was the most active stock with 51.20 million shares.

Deyaar Development topped the risers with 6.41%, whereas National General Insurance Company advanced the fallers with 9.50%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.525% to 9,285.37 points.

A total of 237.75 million shares were traded at an amount of AED 1.07 billion, while the market cap value reached AED 2.77 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 212.98 million, whereas Waha Capital dominated trading volume with 51.03 million shares.

Sudatel Telecom Group led the gainers with 6.67%, while  Ras Al Khaimah Company for White Cement and Construction Materials (RAK White Cement) headed the decliners with 8.33%.
